The Lieutenant's Pump is a British pub housed in the semi-basement of a circa-1903 apartment building in Ottawa, Canada (at 361 Elgin St.)
"Meet you at the Pump"
The Lieutenant's Pump attracts a diverse crowd, from lunchtime regulars to midnight revelers. Special Events and weekly events held here, like trivia night on Mondays. We have plenty of TVs for the big game, too. Check our calendar for upcoming parties, specials, and events.
Inside, the pub is cozy and private. Comfortable tables and booths surround three bars in four rooms decorated with dark wood, stone walls, low ceilings and red leather banquettes. "The Pump" also has a large street-level patio that's perfect for people-watching.
A bite and a pint
Our menu offers home-cooked casual fare; pub food like burgers, nachos and wings, plus plenty of healthy choices too like lemon scented quinoa salad. Wheat-free, milk-free vegetarian options are also available.
Our bartenders serve a wide selection of drinks, including sixteen draft taps (several from excellent local breweries). In the summer you can sip “Mason Jar Mojitos” made with fresh picked mint from our garden on the patio.
We serve a rotating selection of seasonal daily specials. Weekly specials include a-la-carte weekend brunch, two steaks and a bottle of wine from $46.00 on Saturday evening, and traditional prime rib roast beef on Sunday evening.
